Kat Von D Palette Review - Memento Mori (Limited Edition)

I must say, I've always been a bit skeptical of celebrity make-up lines because I feel like the quality is not always the best. These companies try to sell a product based on whose face and name is on it. That being said, I was blown away by the quality of Kat Von D's eyeshadow palettes, which are  Sephora products. In case you don't know who Kat Von D is, she stars in the TLC show LA Ink.

The colors in this palette, (and the others, as well), are highly pigmented and apply true to the way they look in the pan.

Tijuana is seriously my favorite black eyeshadow right now! It's a highly pigmented black with gold sparkles in it. I would buy this palette again just for that one color.

The first look is more for day. It's flirty, fun and inspired by Harajuku dolls :)

I feel like the lipsticks look kind of similar in the pictures, but they are quite different, as you can see from the swatches. In the picture below, Hellbent is on the left and Coral Polyp is on the right.

The second look I created is super dramatic and was inspired by Kat Von D herself.
