Today, I want to share with you a brand that I have fallen in love with. Since there are an endless amount of product options available to us consumers, we have the luxury of being picky about the products we purchase with our hard-earned money. As I have gotten older, I have become more conscious of the environment, as well as more conscious about the products I consume and put on my skin.
That being said, you will see why I am loving this brand. HONEYMARK is an all-natural skincare line that uses New Zealand Manuka Honey to make all its products. Not only do I absolutely love honey, but I am all for companies that use all-natural ingredients. In this post, I will be reviewing the Acne Cream, Mud Mask and Manuka Honey.
Honeymark is not only concerned with offering consumers a product they can feel good about buying, but they are also highly concerned with green initiatives like sustainability and recycling.
According to its website, all Honeymark products are:
- Made with active Manuka Honey from New Zealand
- Paraben Free
- Produced with all-natural ingredients
- Free of artificial coloring
- Free of synthetic fragrances
- Free of genetically modified organisms
- Free of mineral oils
- Free of artificial preservatives
- Cruelty free - NO animal testing or animal products
Amazing, right?!?! And the best thing about these products is that they really work!!! In my opinion, they work as well if not better than products made with chemicals.
In addition to the products featured in this post, Honeymark also carries:
- Anti-Wrinkle serum
- Liquid Soap
- Bar Soap
- Anti-fungal Cream
- Anti-itch cream
- Antibacterial hand gel
- Beeswax Candles
- Bath salt, and more...
Like most people, I suffer from occasional breakouts. For those of you who are fortunate enough to have naturally nice skin... I envy you. However, for everyone else who deals with acne or breakouts this product is for you!!!
The acne cream dried out virtually all my pimples overnight. The couple that were left in the morning were gone by the following day. I have tried TONS of acne treatment products and they rarely zap my zits in 24 hours, so the effectiveness turnaround time for this product is phenomenal.
Another thing I want to mention about the acne cream is that even though it is tough on my zits, it does not dry out my skin. I have never used such an effective product that is gentle on my sensitive skin, as well. I am impressed!
Things to know:
- $24.95 (A little goes a long way and you get a lot for your money)
- Dries clear
- Active ingredient is salicylic acid 2%
- Not sticky, oily or greasy
This product blew me away! I used to be really good about my skincare routine, but lately I have been so busy that I have been slacking off. This particular product motivated me to get back on my routine. Every Sunday night I put apply the mask and relax for 15-20 minutes while the mud and honey go to work.
After applying the mask, there is a cool, tingly sensation. Mixed into the mask are tiny granules that exfoliate when you apply the mask and exfoliate when you rinse it off. The day after I used the mask, my skin looked more radiant, felt less congested and was much softer and smoother. I highly recommend this mud mask as a weekly treatment.
*One thing I do want to let you know about this product is the packaging. It is a bit messy trying to pour the product out and to reseal the package. I do not mind this at all if it means "greener" packaging, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Things to know:
- Only four ingredients... Dead Sea mud, Manuka Honey (+16), lavender and purified water
- Detoxifies the skin
- Shake or knead pouch before opening (in case separation occurs)
Okay, I am going to tell you again how much I love honey. As a kid, I loved getting honey sticks and just sucking the honey straight out of them. Now, I like to put honey in my tea, on my cereal or add it to anything that needs a touch of sweetness.
I had never heard of Manuka Honey before, so it was interesting to learn about it through these products. Apparently, this is the most sought after honey because of its healing benefits both topically and internally.
This is what the side of the container says:
"Manuka honey is a premium, mono-floral honey which is produced by bees that gather nectar from the flowers that grow on the Manuka plant. Indigenous to New Zealand, this special type of honey contains more vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants than other types of honey."
Things to know:
- Different look and texture from grocery-store honey
- Has a sweet, floral taste
Instead of drinking coffee all day, I switch to green tea in the afternoon. Since receiving my Manuka Honey, I have been stirring a teaspoonful into my cup of tea each day. It is SO delicious!!!

Okay, last thing I'm going to talk about. (I know this is a long post, but I just have so much to tell you lol).
I saw these at Sephora a while ago, but I never got around to trying them. When I saw them go on sale recently, I figured now is my chance. It's a good thing I decided to try them because these lashes are super fun! Sadly, Sephora will no longer be carrying these paper perfections, which is why they were on sale, so stock up while you can. ;)
They are SO unique. Made out of paper, these lash delights come in a variety of designs. There are sea horses, butterflies (shown here), peacocks, peonies, as well as many other designs to choose from.
If you are dying to get your hands on these, you can still order directly from Paperself. (*Note: It is a UK based company. There is a charge for international shipping and, for some, a conversion rate).
For this look, I simply cut off a piece from the Paperself full strip and glued it to the outer corner of my eye. I also decided to have the pieces slightly mismatched instead of the having the same thing on both sides.
Stay beautiful everyone!!!
